Election Day is often a busy day at churches across America.
Some churches serve as voting centers for elections, while others offer rides to members and friends so that they can get to the polls. Churches, as community organizations, also provide centers for social organizing and forums to meet and visit with political candidates.*
So on this election day, be sure to greet the many volunteers and voters who may visit or use your facility. After all, it is a great way to provide a little hospitality, meet your neighbors, and reach out to others in your community whose only connection to a church is on Election Day.

Churches are not allowed to endorse candidates directly, and churches should do research about tax implications before engaging in any political activity. For more information, visit IRS.gov.
